The Calverton Solar Energy Center is a large-scale renewable energy project located in Riverhead, New York, designed to generate clean, sustainable power for the local community and surrounding region. By converting underutilized land into a solar generation facility, the project supports New York’s broader clean energy goals, reduces reliance on fossil fuels, and contributes to long-term environmental resilience while delivering reliable energy to the grid.
