COVID-19 Phase 4 Guidance for New York City
New York City is officially in Phase 4 as of Monday, July 20th and Quadrant would like to help your business navigate what this means and what stipulations are active. NYC Business has all of the resources needed to confidently conduct your business and we outline them below.
Phase 4 includes reopening for Low-Risk Outdoor Arts & Entertainment, Media Production, and Professional Sports Competitions with No Fans.
The date for Higher Education, Pre-K to Grade 12 Schools, Low-Risk Indoor Arts & Entertainment, and Malls have not yet been determined.
If you’re unclear which phase your business is included in, you can use this tool to check. These guidelines and requirements may change, so please check the New York Forward site frequently.
Also, as referenced by NYC Business, you can also visit the NYC Department of Small Business Services and search "Reopening Guidelines" to sign up for an upcoming webinar to learn about State requirements, recommendations, and resources available to help businesses reopen in NYC.
Each business or entity, including those that have been designated as essential under Empire State Development's Essential Business Guidance, must develop a written Safety Plan outlining how its workplace will prevent the spread of COVID-19. A business may fill out this template to fulfill the requirement or develop its own Safety Plan. This plan does not need to be submitted to a state agency for approval but must be retained on the premises of the business and must made available to the New York State Department of Health (DOH) or local health or safety authorities in the event of an inspection.
For further questions on Phase 4 reopening and a guide to assist your business check out the NYC website or download their Reopening Guidelines Webinars flyer and share with other businesses.
Thanks for allowing Quadrant Engineering to help you in this matter. We believe the more companies and organizations distribute facts regarding reopening, the more efficient we can get our economy back in action.
With Responsibility,
