Interfaith Hospital MH Redesign
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Client: JCC Construction Corp.
Owner: Interfaith Hospital
Scope: Design Services
The Interfaith Hospital Utility Improvements project involved targeted infrastructure upgrades to support ongoing construction and operational needs within an active healthcare facility in Brooklyn, New York. Given the constraints of working within an urban environment and around critical hospital operations, the project required careful coordination to ensure that existing underground utilities remained functional while accommodating new construction elements.
Quadrant Engineering provided utility redesign services, with a specific focus on the modification of existing manhole structures to address unforeseen field obstructions. Our team evaluated existing conditions, identified conflicts with proposed alignments, and developed revised designs to maintain system continuity while adapting to site constraints. These efforts ensured that utility infrastructure remained accessible, functional, and compliant with applicable standards.
Through our responsive and practical design approach, Quadrant enabled the project team to overcome subsurface challenges without disrupting ongoing operations. Our work minimized delays, reduced the need for costly rework, and supported the seamless integration of new and existing utility systems within a complex, high-sensitivity environment.
