Renovation and Rehabilitation of NYCHA Buildings/Structures

Located in Brooklyn, New York, Howard Houses is a NYCHA-owned residential complex currently undergoing a conversion to Section 8 funding to support property improvements while maintaining long-term affordability. 

Quadrant Engineering was subcontracted to perform pre- and post-construction condition surveys of properties adjacent to the construction site and staging areas. The scope included documenting existing exterior conditions to establish a baseline record of pre-existing cracks, defects, and other observable conditions. This documentation serves as a reference in the event of damage claims, mitigating risk and supporting transparency throughout construction.
